Appointments and Reservations
Advance reservations for services as well as our artesian mineral spas are highly recommend. Reservations are subject to availability.
Cancellation Policy
Because your services or treatments are exclusively reserved for you, a credit card with be used to reserve all appointments. Please have your card number ready when booking. Should you need to cancel or make changes to your appointment, you must contact us 24-hours prior to avoid a cancellation fee. Any cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a cancellation fee amounting to the full cost of the scheduled appointment.
You will not be billed in advance unless there is a cancellation or no show. At check in guests are welcome to choose their method of payment.
Your Arrival
All spa treatments include a complimentary 30-minute indoor artesian mineral spring soak before your appointment. Please arrive at least 15-minutes prior to your scheduled spa appointment time. Arriving early will allow you the necessary time to reduce stress and focus the mind. All guests receiving a service or treatment with us will receive a locker with a spa robe, towel, and flip-flops to use during your visit. If you are joining us solely for a soak in our artesian mineral spas, lockers and towels are available to rent. See our Spa Menu for details and options.
Late Arrivals
We will always try to accommodate your treatments, but a late arrival may result in a reduction of treatment time due to adjacent bookings.
Dress
You may wear your robe and slippers to your spa service. Disrobe to the level of your comfort. Undergarments are not necessary, but you may wear them during your treatment if you prefer. Our therapists are trained to drape your body in a discreet manner, assuring your privacy at all times.
All of our artesian mineral spas are private and bathing suits are optional.
Quiet Zone
We ask that all cell phones are placed on vibrate mode to maximize your spa experience & reduce disruptions to others. Please respect the privacy and solitude of other spa guests by speaking in a soft voice while inside River Oaks Hot Springs.
Health Concerns & Client Information Form
Some treatments may not be appropriate for people with high blood pressure, diabetes, severe allergies, sunburn, or women who are pregnant or nursing. Please mention any health concerns to the front desk when booking.
Upon arrival, you will be asked to fill out a Client Information Form. If you wish you can print it out and bring it to your service by clicking here to download the Client Information Form. This form is especially important in making sure your trained professional knows everything going on with your body, and that you receive the best treatment possible.
Valuables
Lockers are provided for all guests receiving a treatment. Please refrain from bringing valuables to the spa. River Oaks Hot Springs Spa is not responsible for any lost or stolen personal items. Silver jewelry will tarnish in our artesian mineral spas.
Gratuities
In appreciation for exceptional service, gratuities may be offered to your service provided. Gratuities are not included in any of our listed pricing. Standard consideration is 15-20% of the fee for each spa service received.
Group Accommodations
Large parties of 4 or more should be booked in advance. Call us at (805) 238-4600 or email us at [email protected] to personalize your group reservation. Bridal parties are welcome. All group accommodations are subject to a 48 hour cancellation policy.
Youth
We kindly ask that all children are closely supervised while at the Spa. No children under the age of 18 are permitted in the mineral spas or private massages unless accompanied by an adult. Children 5 years and under are prohibited for all services and artesian mineral spas.

Gift cards are always welcome. They can be purchased by visiting us at the spa, or order online.
